The Sony Xperia S isn?t due to arrive until March 2012, but that hasn?t prevented one loquacious Carphone Warehouse employee from letting slip pricing models.
Speaking to the bods over at GSMArena, the hapless staff member let loose that the latest Sony smartphone would be shifting for ?429.95. Play.com are offering the device for the slightly less appealing ?450 while eBuyer?s ?429.99 price-tag is pretty much the same.
The phone itself packs a 4.3-inch HD resolution touchscreen and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
It?ll run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) though an upgrade to the latest Ice Cream Sandwich version of Google?s OS has been promised.
A 12 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video bedecks the rear of the device while a 1.3 megapixel camera graces the front.
