LONDON ? ?A 19-year-old man was Tuesday arrested over the kidnap and murder of young east London mother Kirsty Treloar, police said.
The 20-year-old was abducted from her home in Hackney shortly after 7:00am Monday. She was found dead in an abandoned car around 90 minutes later, Sky News reported.
Officers arrested the 19-year-old suspect at about 1:00pm Tuesday in the Hackney area after a major manhunt, police said.
Neighbors said they heard a "hysterical" scream come from the property Treloar was taken from and a cry of "Please, please, please" before the young woman was taken away.
Police said Treloar, who gave birth to her first child last month, had died from stab wounds.
Her 22-year-old brother Dean and her sister Gemma, 24, were recovering after they also suffered stab injuries during her abduction.
Police and medics rushed to the house she also shared with mum Pamela Dabney, 57, American stepdad Michael and sister Jade, 16, after the alarm was raised, The Sun reported. Treloar's baby was unharmed but was still taken to hospital as a precaution and was under observation Tuesday night.
