Did you buy a new iPad with Retina Display this year and were blind-sided by the introduction of the iPad 4th generation? Well, you'll be happy to know that some Apple stores may give you a break.?
According to CNET, specific Apple stores will exchange third-generation iPads for the latest one if you purchased your device within the last 30 days. Of course, if your iPad is beaten up beyond what's acceptable, you won't be as lucky. The CNET report spoke with one store in San Francisco, so it's not clear if this will be a widespread policy.?
What's the big deal with the iPad 4th generation? Well, along with the Retina Display, the iPad 4th generation has teh A6X chip and this will provide faster processing overall. You can also look forward to the Lightning connector and more. ?
