Twitter Remembers Castlebar Celtic Women?s Coach Jeremy Dee

Tragic news from the grassroots of Irish football today. Castlebar Celtic women?s manager Jeremy Dee died today in a car accident while driving to coach his club against Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght Stadium. As soon as Dee?s death was announced, people on Twitter immediately began to express their sympathies. A small sampling of tweets remembering Dee?s life and his commitment to Irish soccer are below.

FAI CEO John Delaney expressed his sympathies by saying ?I am deeply saddened at this tragic loss. I had enormous personal regard for Jeremy?s wide ranging contribution to the Irish football family. He represented all that is good about volunteerism and is an enormous loss to the development of women?s football, particularly in the West of Ireland. He always had a positive attitude and would light up any room with his enthusiasm and smile. I take this opportunity to offer my sincere condolences to his family.?
