The?Advisor, Strategic Planning provides input and support to U.S. Marketing Strategy Management and the Sales organization in refining U.S. Marketing's strategic intent and developing appropriate action plans. Makes principal contributions to U.S. Marketing initiatives such as biofuels strategy development, channel mix optimization, LRP development, etc.?This role is instrumental in helping to establish the long-term strategic direction of U.S. Marketing.?? Responsibilities may include:?

  • Provides analytical underpinning for the establishment and refinement of U.S. Marketing's long term strategies
  • Prepares actionable recommendations outlining ?implementation plans and key milestones
  • Develops control plans to monitors progress in U.S. Marketing's Long-Range Plan with respect to approved activities relating to approved strategy and action plans
  • Supports/ participates in U.S. Marketing's initiatives as appropriate

? ? Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of Downstream or Commercial experience ?
Preferred:
  • MBA
  • Solid understanding of U.S. Marketing's business
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and drive to decisions across a diverse group of employees
  • Ability to distill complex sets of disparate business data into meaningful, concise information that drives business strategies and/or tactical implementation plans (strong analytical skills)
  • Understands U.S. Marketing's business profitability drivers
  • Ability to ?frame recommendations in alignment with articulated U.S. Marketing strategic intent and develop tactical implementation plans
  • Ability to work independently and under time constraints
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
