This is a great children's book that introduces them to the wonderful and exciting world of fishkeeping.? It briefly provides information on body parts, setting up an aquarium, feeding and cleaning.? Even though the information is brief and scaled down it does promote very well the essence of responsible fish ownership as they are indeed your little pet.? I particularly like the pages on 'old age' which brings with it the sadness of death, as indeed a pet is for life and with responsible care your fish can live with you for all it's life.? It has some nice tips and facts in the back to enhance your fishkeeping?knowledge!!
I would strongly recommend an adult to learn more of the requirements to owning a pet fish to help compliment the guidance set out in this book prior to making any purchases.
It's fun reading children's books, especially because?fishkeeping?does make me feel like a kid in a candy store every time I walk into an aquatic pet retailer.
